In a multiple-level list, you can change the formatting one level at a time by clicking one bullet or number at that level in the list. The formatting of the line numbers is defined in the character style named
'Line Number'. You can change the font of the line numbers by modifying the
style.
To modify the style, you can for example do as follows:
Press Ctrl+Shift+S to display the Apply Styles dialog box. Type “Line
Number” in the Style Name field and click Modify. In the Modify Style dialog
box, you can make the desired changes to the Line Number style. If you want
the change to apply to all new documents based on the template in use, turn
on “New documents based on this template”. Click OK.

  • Word and PowerPoint documents has an AutoCorrect option to insert bullets automatically. For example, type 1 then. And press space to create a numbered bulleted list. Similar to numbered list, you can also use other symbols like hyphen or letters to insert bullets. For example, type hyphen and press spacebar to create a bullets with hyphen.
  • The name of the style is Line Numbers. To change the color (or any other attribute) of the style, click on the Style Panes launcher on the Home tab. Alternately, you can press Shift+Ctrl+Alt+S. The styles pane will open. If all of the styles are not showing, click on Options at the bottom of the Styles Pane to open the Style Pane Options dialog.
  • Switch to Home tab in Word, find the Numbering button. You can either click it directly or click the small arrow to expand the menu, and choose a numbering format in the list. Then the button will turn grey. After that, you can input the content in the document, and each paragraph will be added a sequence number automatically.
  • You can't easily increase font size on a Mac in a specific font setting, but there are two different ways to get it done.; You can, for example, change the resolution of your display to.

  • In the Markup group:

  • In the Formatting group - choose how Formatting changes should be indicated.
  • In the Balloons group:
    • Preferred Width - Lets you define the width of the balloons. Remember that balloonstake up room in the margin, and Word has to 'squeeze' the document to make room.
    • Measure In - Lets you choose the units used for measuring the balloon width.
    • Margin - Lets you choose which margin Word should place the balloons in.
    • Show Lines Connecting to Text - Lets you choose to have lines drawn from the balloonsto the point in the text that they relate to.
    • Paper Orientation in printing - Affects how the document prints with balloonsdisplayed. You can force Word to print the document in landscape orientation, to print inthe mode for which the document is set up, or to automatically select the most appropriate.(Note that this doesn't affect how the document appears in Print Preview, only how itprints.)
