The chamber, or “column”, contains a sealed float with a permanent magnet assembly which rises and falls as the liquid level changes in the process vessel. The permanent magnet assembly in the float is magnetically coupled to an indicator, which is mounted externally to the gage column but completely isolated from the process liquid. This level has had a bit of a fall and has a bit of paint touched up and put a few small dents in the body. A bit sad as the level still has the original paper tag on the handle. Will do until I get a better one. Serial No 392210. Approx Date of Manufacture 1972.
